Verkkokaupan toimituksilla on hiilijalanjälki. Siksi tuemme huippuyrityksiä, jotka poistavat hiiltä ilmasta.

Yhdessä osallistuvilla yrityksillä on…

  • poisti yli tuhansia tonneja hiiltä ilmakehästä
  • Tarjottiin hiilineutraali toimitus yli miljoonille tilauksille

Näin se toimii: Jokaisen vastaanottamamme tilauksen kohdalla lasketaan arvioidut lähetyspäästöt kaavalla. Näiden arvioiden perusteella osa tuloistamme menee hiilenpoistoyrityksille, jotka Carbon Directin tutkijat ovat tarkastaneet. Nämä yritykset käyttävät näitä rahoja poistaakseen kuinka paljon hiiltä lähetyksemme tuottavat. Kaikki ylimääräiset varat käytetään hiilenpoistotekniikoiden kehittämiseen.

Tapataan muutama yritys, joka poistaa hiiltä taivaalta.

Perintö

Heirloomin suora ilman talteenottotekniikka tehostaa hiilen mineralisaatioprosessia. Heirloomin tekniikka nopeuttaa luonnossa esiintyvien mineraalien hiilidioksidin talteenottonopeutta sen sijaan, että se käyttäisi energiaintensiivisiä tuulettimia ilman sisäänvetämiseen.

Remora

Remora kerää hiilidioksidia puolikuorma-autojen pakoputkista niiden ajon aikana, ja CO₂ on tarkoitettu pitkäaikaiseen varastointiin.

Charm

Charm kerää hiilidioksidia kasvijätteellä, muuntaa sen vakaaksi, hiilipitoiseksi nesteeksi ja varastoi sen turvallisesti syvälle maan alle – poissa metsäpalojen ja maaperän eroosion ulottuvilta.
